Trust Centre
Before you trust us with your information, learn exactly who we are.
We think you should be able to research a funding company before you submit a form or take a call.
Who we are
Reserved: leadership
Names, roles, and photographs of the people who run Soho Wealth Group will appear here once we can publish them. We would rather show nothing than show a stranger.
What we do
Soho Wealth Group is a funding consultancy. We help business owners and consumers plan and arrange funding across four product types.
We are paid by the client. We are not a bank and not a lender.
What we do not control
Final approvals, credit limits, rates, terms, and funding timelines are set by the bank, card issuer, or funding provider — not by Soho.
We can tell you what providers usually look at. We cannot tell you what any provider will decide.
How Soho gets paid
Soho Wealth Group is paid by the client, not by the bank or funding provider. The fee is a percentage of the amount actually funded — between 3% and 15%, depending on which product is used. The exact percentage for your situation is given to you in writing before you agree to anything.
We do it this way on purpose. If funders paid us, we would have a reason to point you toward whoever pays the most. Because you pay us, we do not.
Questions we cannot fully answer yet
The exact percentage that applies to you, and anything you would owe if no funding is arranged, is set out in writing in your agreement before you sign it.
How your data is used
When you contact us we collect the details you type in: your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, and whatever you tell us about your goal. If you go on to a formal application, the provider asks for more detailed financial information.
We use those details for two things: to work out which funding paths may fit, and to reach you about it. Sensitive details are only shared with a bank, card issuer, or funding provider that you have agreed to apply to.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it where the law allows. Some records must be kept for a period after an application, and we will tell you if that applies.
Our written policy sets out the full detail, including how to reach the privacy team.
Credit checks
A soft inquiry is a look at your credit report that does not affect your score. It is often used to see whether something is likely to fit.
A hard inquiry is recorded when you formally apply for credit. It can lower your score by a small amount for a while, and other providers can see it.
We will tell you exactly when a credit check happens, and whether it is a soft check or a hard one, before anything is submitted.
No guaranteed approvals
No responsible funding company can promise that a bank or lender will approve every application.
Here is what we can promise instead:
- An honest read on whether a product fits your situation.
- The trade-offs in writing, including cost and repayment, before you decide.
- A clear no when a product does not suit the situation.
Complaints and support
If something has gone wrong, tell us first. We would rather hear it directly and fix it than have you find out elsewhere that we do not respond.
A complaint is read by a member of the team who was not involved in your case. They look at what was said, what was submitted, and what was agreed. You are told what they found and what happens next. If we got something wrong, we say so.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, so information you type into a form is encrypted while it travels to us.
That is what we can state as fact today. We are not going to put a badge or a certification on this page that we cannot show you evidence for.
