How it works
Four steps, and you can stop at any of them.
The order matters. Nothing is sent to a bank or funding provider until you have seen your options and said yes.
Step 1
Tell us what you need.
Share a few basic details about your goal.
You tell us what the money is for, roughly how much you have in mind, and when you need it. If it is for a business, we ask how long it has been running and roughly what it takes in.
We read it and come back to you with questions. That is all that happens.
What is not happening yet: Nothing is submitted to any bank, card issuer, or funding provider at this stage. No credit check happens. We do not ask for a Social Security number here.
Step 2
We review the fit.
We look at the factors that may shape your available options.
We look at the things providers usually weigh: credit profile, revenue and deposits, time in business, existing debt, and the state you operate in.
You answer follow-up questions. We do the comparing.
What is not happening yet: Still nothing submitted. This is our own read on fit, not a decision by anyone who can lend. If we need a credit check to go further, we tell you before it happens and tell you whether it is soft or hard.
Step 3
Understand your possible paths.
We explain the products that may fit and the trade-offs involved.
We walk you through each path that could work: what it is, what it costs, what decides it, who approves it, and when it is the wrong tool. In writing, so you can read it again later.
You ask whatever you want. Take a week if you want a week.
What is not happening yet: No application has been made. Nothing here is an offer, and none of it is a promise that a provider will say yes.
Step 4
You decide.
Moving forward is your choice. Final approval and terms depend on the provider.
If you choose to move ahead, we agree which providers to apply to, and you complete a formal application. We tell you before each submission.
You can stop at any point, and you can take any provider off the list.
What is not happening yet: We do not approve anything. The bank, card issuer, or funding provider makes the decision and sets the final amount, rate, and terms.
Your information
What happens to your information at each step
Step 1 — routing details
Name, email, phone if you want calls, and a short description of your goal. Enough to route your enquiry to the right person and call you back.
Step 2 — situation details
Approximate revenue, time in business, and existing debt. Ranges are fine at this stage. We use them to compare paths, not to apply anywhere.
Step 3 — nothing new
This stage is explanation. We are giving you information, not collecting it.
Step 4 — formal application only
Sensitive details, including identity and full financial information, are given inside a secure formal application to a provider you have agreed to.
We never ask for a Social Security number on a marketing form. If you are ever asked for one outside a secure formal application, stop and check with us.
When we tell you no
Sometimes the honest answer is no.
Sometimes the honest answer is that none of our paths fits, or that your bank is your cheapest option, or that the timing is wrong. We would rather say that than arrange funding that hurts the business.
