What this site collects, and why.

If you use the funding options questionnaire or a contact form, this site collects what you type in: your name, contact details, and the answers you give about your funding needs.

The questionnaire does not ask for a Social Security number, bank account number, or full date of birth. Do not send those through this website.

Like most websites, this site also collects basic technical information, such as which pages are visited and the type of device used.

Information you submit is used to respond to you, to discuss funding options, and — only if you agree to it in writing — to help arrange funding with a third-party provider.

Your information is not sold.

Nothing you submit through this site is an application for credit, and submitting it does not trigger a credit check. If a provider's process later involves a credit inquiry, you are told whether it is a soft or hard inquiry before anything is submitted.

Information is shared only with the people and service providers needed to operate this site and respond to you, and — with your agreement — with funding providers relevant to the options you choose to pursue.

Information may also be disclosed if the law requires it.

Information is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires, and is then deleted.
