Disclosures
What we have to be clear about.
These disclosures apply to everything on this site and to any work Soho Wealth Group does with a client.
Soho's role
Soho Wealth Group is a funding consultancy. It helps business owners and consumers plan and arrange funding. It is not a bank and it is not a lender.
Soho Wealth Group does not make final credit decisions and does not set final credit terms. Financing is provided by third-party banks, card issuers, lenders, or funding providers. All products are subject to underwriting, eligibility, and availability.
How Soho is compensated
Soho Wealth Group is paid by the client, not by the bank or funding provider.
The fee is a percentage of the amount actually funded — between 3% and 15%, depending on which product is used.
The exact percentage that applies to a client, and anything the client would owe if no funding is arranged, is disclosed in writing before the client signs an agreement.
No guarantee of approval
No responsible funding company can promise that a bank or lender will approve any application. Soho Wealth Group makes no such promise.
Submitting information to Soho Wealth Group, or discussing options with the team, is not an application and is not an offer of credit.
How advertised terms work
Any rate, amount, or period shown anywhere on this site is illustrative of a provider's published terms. It is not an offer, and it is not available to every applicant.
The rate, amount, and term an applicant is offered — if any — are set by the provider after its own review.
Credit inquiries
A soft inquiry is a review of a credit file that does not affect a credit score. A hard inquiry is recorded when a person formally applies for credit and can reduce a credit score.
Clients are told whether a soft or a hard inquiry applies before any information is submitted to a provider.
Merchant cash advance disclosure
A merchant cash advance is generally a purchase of future business receivables rather than a loan.
The cost of an advance is usually expressed as a factor rate. A factor rate is not an APR and is not comparable to one.
Remittances may be taken daily or weekly, which affects business cash flow.
Availability and the disclosures a provider must give vary by state.
State availability
Product availability, eligibility requirements, and required disclosures vary by state and by funding provider. A product described on this site may not be available in every state.
Third-party trademarks
Any third-party name or mark that appears on this site belongs to its owner. Its appearance is not an endorsement of Soho Wealth Group by that owner, and it does not indicate a relationship between them.
For how these rules work in practice, see the Trust Centre.
